There is a vile malignancy, potentially terminal, eating away at the foundation of our country. This malignancy is known as the ACLU or American Civil Liberties Union, a gross misnomer to say the least. A more accurate name would be Anti Christian Litigation Union. While most of us have heard of the ACLU, too few of us pay any real attention to it’s activities. We need to be paying very close attention. It is the single most dangerous organization in the country. While the ACLU claims to champion individual civil rights, it picks and chooses to go to bat for such individuals, organizations and activities as Planned Parenthood, fostering unfettered abortions up to and including full term babies ready to, or in the process,of being born: promote, encourage and endorse so called gay rights including gay marriage, and offer free legal services to terrorist. They file multitudes of lawsuits protecting such “rights” as the “right” to be profane in public, the “right” to practice pedophilia, child as well as adult pornography, the “right” to burn the flag. They sue our Military Generals on behalf of our enemies. They love atheists and file on their behalf to stop prayer in public school, to prohibit the display of the Ten Commandments and/or the Nativity Scene in any public place, to remove “One Nation Under God” from our pledge of allegiance, as well as “In God We Trust” from our National Currency. They wage war in court to remove Crosses from cemeteries and public places. While claiming to protect freedom of speech, they are adamantly opposed to school children uttering the name of God, Jesus Christ, Christianity or carry a bible to public schools. This is just the tip of the iceberg. .
The ACLU brainwashes the American public by citing “separation of Church and State as a basis and justification of their actions. Nowhere in the Constitution is separation of Church & State to be found. What is in the Constitution is the provision that “Congress can make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”. (A safeguard against government interfering with a person’s or group’s religious freedom) Separation of Church and State was an inaccurate interpretation by Liberal Supreme Court Justice Hugo Black back in 1947, (Everson vs. Board of Education), that was picked up and used as a club, from that day to this, by the ACLU as bully tactics to silence opposition from the people, from church pulpits, from academia, and from every crease and corner of America. They have hijacked the constitution. This handful of high-powered lawyers and their left-wing supporters are holding 300 million American citizens hostage. This is a disgrace!!! How are they doing it? By using the courts. They find sympathetic, leftist, judges, who rule on their behalf, no matter how ridiculous or how damaging the case, then ask for court costs and get them, resulting in the unwary tax-payer footing the bill for cases that most of us are opposed to. How can this be solved? By the Government? Not going to happen. By the Church? Not when the pastorate and congregation is easily bullied into silence. Academia? No way. They are a big part of the problem, not the solution. Well, who then? US! The silent majority. The citizens of the United States of America. This is supposed to be a government of the people, by the people and for the people. But it isn’t. Why, because we are hugely apathetic, ill informed, easily led and socially lazy. This is our country! If we don’t wake up, stand up and speak up as a society, we are going to lose our Constitution and the freedoms that come with it. The first to go is going to be our freedom of religion. Once that goes, chaos and the point of no return is not far behind.
