Will we wait till it’s too late?

Barack Hussein Obama, our Narcissist King; our Criminal in Chief; our Dictator in waiting is our ENEMY.   How hard is that to understand? Apparently too hard for a very large population of ignoramuses in our society; those who voted for him and those who continue to support him regardless of the destructive road he’s taking us down. 

In my lifetime, I have never seen, nor remember, any administration so wildly out of control as this administration. Every citizen in the country should have red flags up at the rush and push and bullying that’s going on in DC. In just under 6 months, Obama and his government thugs have put us so far into the red that we will never dig ourselves out. They have shredded the constitution, elbowed their way into ownership of our financial institutions, private industry and our futures. Now they’re on their way to owning our thoughts, our speech, our healthcare and our personal wealth.

From day one, Obama has played patty-cake with Muslims while he insults and betrays our allies. Our National Security seems to be a joke to him and our Military who voluntarily put their lives on the line for us are treated with disrespect and disdain.

The moral standards and family traditions  that were woven into our foundations, have been and continue to be utterly trashed by our Liar in chief. He says he wants to reduce abortions but supports every issue that removes any and all bumps in the road against it. He says he is against gay marriage but is the head cheerleader for every unsavory homosexual agenda in the country.

He says he wants to improve education but appoints those who are nothing short of detrimental to education and true child well being.

It is not inconsequential that for his whole adult life he has chosen as friends those radicals involved in socialism, Marxism, communism and outlandish anti-American belief systems. Who of us would choose these Obama “friends” as our friends? Not one of us. Clichés become clichés because they are so true. I am reminded of the birds of a feather cliché where our Dictator in Waiting is concerned. The reason he chooses radicals, socialists, Marxists and communist as mentors and associates is because he is cut from the same rotten cloth. IMHO, Obama is very capable of the same policies as Hitler, Stalin, Marx and all the rest of the monsters of the past.

There’s also the issue of whether or not he usurped the Potus office since we STILL HAVEN’T SEEN that oh so illusive Birth Certificate or his higher education transcripts.  This issue would have been so easy to put to bed had Obama not fought tooth and nail and spent a million or so (probably taxpayer) dollars to keep records sealed. 

Without going into further detail, suffice it to say THIS WHOLE PRESIDENTIAL/ ADMINISTRATION/ POLICY/PRACTICE situation stinks to high heaven. Stinks like a rotting corpse.

Last but not least………..what and when are we going to step up to the plate and do something about it? We know there is a terrific amount of unrest in the country; that conservatives are wary to the max; that we keep talking about taking our country back; but WHEN; And HOW? I’m so afraid we’re going to wait till it’s too late. With the deck stacked in their favor, this Administration can do irreparable damage by 2010.

My suggestion?  I think that like most of us, I just don’t know; don’t have a suggestion. I think all of us wary, weary conservatives are waiting for some other guy to come up with the answer.  Or waiting for the event that will push us over the starting line; an event like an all inclusive gun ban or another terrorist attack on our soil. I just don’t know what it will take to make us take a unified stand. I just hope it happens before it’s too late.

Now that the willfully deaf, dumb and blind American electorate has elected Obama to the highest office on the planet, conservatives need more than ever to keep their ears to the ground and their voices raised in peaceful protest to the atrocities that the new Czar, his staff and the Pelosi/Reid left wingers will foist on us.

I am thinking that we conservative bloggers can create an email “bloggers list”, and make it available to all of us for our e-address books. This would make fast alert possible when new issues arise in this new administration. Even beforehand, such as the doubts swirling around Obama’s Birth Certificate; is it authentic or is it not?

The goal would be for us to speak up in unison via email, slow mail, phone calls, fax’s or whatever is called for on issues that otherwise will fall through the cracks. We are all very vocal here on Town hall…………but we are preaching to the choir. Would it not be better if we were vocal where our dear “leaders” were on the other end of our voices?

We could even include the email addresses of conservative friends who don’t blog but are concerned and outspoken and would contact the appropriate authorities on critical issues. Again, I mention the Birth Certificate situation. Someone in this huge government machine should be able to get to the bottom of this and prove one way or another………is Obama a natural born American Citizen……Or Not?   This is a Constitutional issue and WE HAVE A RIGHT TO KNOW. 

We’ll never know this answer or any others if we don’t dig for them ourselves. I am convinced that there are going to be many issues arising that make our hair stand on end. For instance, the rats on the other side are foaming at the mouth to reinstate the fairness doctrine. More than likely they will continue to drag their feet on meaningfull drilling.  I'm sure there will be no shortage of things they will do to keep us gnashing our teeth. If we have a huge network of conservatives in an email list available to all of us, anyone of us can sound the alert to all of the rest of us at a moment’s notice when critical issues arise so we can let our voices be heard loud and clear.

This is just a thumbnail sketch of a sounding board system. It’s just a seed. It doesn’t have to be done exactly as I’ve outlined. Some of you may have far better ideas of how to make this work smoothly. You may even think it’s a bad idea and are free to say so.

So you’re thinking about voting for Obama? I hope you’ve given careful thought about what an Obama Presidency will bring you. Here are some things to consider before you cast your ballot. These points are based on Obama’s promises, his alliances, his voting history and his own words. All are a matter of irrefutable documentation.

Obama gleefully endorses the unfettered slaughter of little unborn human beings by abortion, including late term. Obama voted 3 times to withhold medical care to babies born alive after a botched abortion attempt; AND WE GET TO PAY FOR IT WITH OUR TAX MONEY.  

Abolishment of the meaning of “family” as we’ve known it; the homosexual agenda taking precedent over God’s instructions and the wishes of the people’s majority; he endorses adoption by same sex couples.

“Sex Education” taught in schools, beginning in Kindergarten, regardless of parent’s positions on the issue; said “sex education” heralding the normalcy of homosexuality; Condoms and other birth control devices handed out to your children whether you like it or not while liberal educators convince your children they need to experience sexual fulfillment;

The government overriding parent’s rights to notification if their daughter is pregnant and considering an abortion;

The Fairness Doctrine becoming law, therefore muzzling the speech of Evangelicals and/or conservatives in Churches, Print and over the airwaves; demanding that atheistic/ secular/ liberal views be given equal time with Christian and/or conservative speakers/writers; the goal being to still the voices of Christians and conservatives while promoting a Godless Liberal agenda;

Hate Crime Laws making it a crime to think or express a viewpoint different than the homosexual point of view; making it more of a crime to speak out against, hurt or kill a homosexual than to speak out against, hurt or kill a heterosexual, as if the heterosexual would be less hurt or less dead than the homosexual. All crimes against fellow human beings bears an element of hate. To write into law that crimes against homosexuals are more hateful than crimes against anybody else is a travesty of common sense and justice;

Affirmative Action, with it’s quotas favoring minorities, especially, blacks and homosexuals, will squeeze more qualified white men out of the marketplace and make it nearly impossible to fire workers hired under Affirmative Action, regardless of their level of incompetence, laziness or other poor work habits.

Affirmative action has been an unfair, expensive disaster already; not unlike selling homes to people who can’t afford them. But none of that will matter to a ”President” Obama. He will insist on continuing the bad habit of catering to those who don’t necessarily deserve it, while trampling underfoot the concept of earning a position based on merit.

He will continue to play Class Warfare in order to perpetuate the myth that the Democrat Party is for the “poor”; the “working class”. This lie is kept alive for the sole purpose of getting votes for the democrat party. Rich people and corporations are used as dirty words by Obama and his ilk. When you play “Robin Hood” long enough, taking from the rich to give to the “poor”,( some of whom are poor due to circumstances beyond their control, but millions of whom are “poor” due to their own making), the rich cease to exist and before long everybody fits into the “poor” category. Then who will provide factories, office buildings, manufacturing, service, telecommunication and other industry we take for granted? Who, in other words, will provide jobs?  

Part of Obama’s class warfare is exhibited in his determination to increase Corporate Taxes against those mean old corporations that dare to make a profit, regardless of the fact they are already saddled with the second highest Corporate tax rate on the planet. Corporations that make profit, expand business and hire more people. Corporations that are taxed to death, pass the cost on to consumers, lay off employees, sometimes move to other countries to escape tax strangulation, or in worst case scenarios, go belly up and close their doors. This is a lose-lose-lose situation for the corporation, their employees and for the country. Small business is especially hard hit by increasing Corporation Taxes and Small business is a huge part of our economic structure. Keeping Corporate Tax Rates low is not catering to the rich. I’s keeping businesses here in the states and providing jobs.

Next, Obama targets the “rich” by his plan to increase Capital Gains Taxes. The problem with that is that Capital Gains Taxes don’t affect only those people that might truly be considered rich. It affects middle class people who have been productive enough and responsible enough to accumulate equity in a house, an automobile, stocks, bond, 401K’s and other properties, that if sold, or cashed in, net them a profit. Even though they already paid taxes through the nose while acquiring some wealth, (which is supposed to be the American dream), now they must be punished and taxed for their accomplishments, so that according to Obama’s own words, their wealth can be “spread around”; spread around from taxpayers to non-taxpayers, or more aptly put, from the responsible to the irresponsible. Redistribution of wealth is nothing less than picking the pockets of the working class and giving it to the non-working class.

As if that weren’t bad enough, Obama wants to extend the Unearned Tax Benefit so that every January, those who haven’t managed to work enough to have a taxable income, will automatically get a check in the mail to reward their lack of initiative, courtesy of those who have toiled long hard hours to earn an income and pay taxes. Does that sound fair? Ever heard of Marxism? Socialism? Communism? We’ll become painfully more aware of these “isms” under a Barack Hussein Obama administration.

Obama is in favor of raising Minimum Wage to a “living wage”. This is absolutely unfair to those in our society who have taken on the responsibility of getting an education in order to better themselves. It is equally unfair to the recipients of a minimum wage that makes said recipients comfortable with less income than an education would entitle them to. It is government encouragement to maintain the status quo of limited accomplishment. Elevated Minimum Wage is murder to small business, again resulting in employee layoff, increased prices to consumers and in some instances, closure of businesses. These minimum wage recipients are the very ones who are most apt to receive their “January Bonuses” every year at our expense. Want a living wage? Go to school or learn a trade. The working public doesn’t owe it to the uninspired to make them comfortable. 

Other Taxes Obama states he will raise our Social Security Tax, Death Tax, Windfall Profit Tax and more others than I can recall at the moment. He will end the Bush tax cuts, which will amount to yet another tax hike. Somebody explain to me how he will raise all these taxes then claim to cut taxes for 95% of the American People. Excuse me folks, but this is a mathematical impossibility. He knows it’s impossible, but continues to promise it anyway. We’d better wake up.

 New Entitlement Programs including universal Health Care,(including illegal aliens), Giving another 90 days free rent to those who obtained mortgages they couldn’t afford, and a whole plethora of “Tax Incentives/ Rebates” to the undeserving while sticking the cost to the working class. As it stands, Obama has nearly a $ Trillion worth of new entitlement programs up his sleeve. How is he going to pay for this and cut taxes?    Better get real; His promises aren’t even beginning to be possible.

Other Obama concerns include but are not limited to:

Extend welfare and Social Security benefits to illegal aliens;

 weaken 2^nd amendments rights: He voted to ban guns then said he supports the 2^nd amendment rights. Voted in favor of law suits against gun manufacturers;

Amend drug dealing laws; he thinks they are too severe and wants to deal with drug dealers as a minimum wage affair. (There you go……….small business will foot the bill to make drug dealers more comfortable. Don’tcha just love it)?

Voted against making English the official language of our country.

He opposes the Patriot Act. (Doesn’t want to invade the privacy of Terrorists). Supports giving Habeas Corpus Rights to terrorists, releasing them from Guantanamo onto the streets of America, AND giving them Driver’s Licenses so they can get around in our country unimpeded. (Some of the 9-11 terrorist had driver’s licenses) He wants to have a chummy sit-down schmooze-fest with the likes of Ahmadinejad, Hugo Chavez, and the Castro brothers. He apparently doesn’t get it that these are sociopaths of the highest order who hate us, want to kill us, and will laugh in his inexperienced, unaccomplished face. The only thing he could possibly do to get on their good side, is to join them. I wouldn’t put it past him.

Obama is weak on Energy Independence. He says he is now for drilling. What he’s not talking about is that the leaders in the Democrat Congress has come up with a plan that says we can drill offshore, but it has to be 50 miles from shore. #1, we don’t have drilling rigs 50 miles out. #2 the oil supply is diminished out that far. It would take years to build rigs. We need to start drilling now. #3 Obama says we need to drill on the several thousands of acres already approved for drilling. The problem with that is that drilling has been attempted to no avail since these sites have already been proven to be “dry holes”. Does it make sense that oil companies would refuse to drill on approved sites if there was oil there? No it doesn’t. They want to make money and they would be shortchanging themselves to refuse drilling if there was oil to access. #4, wind, solar, nuclear and other alternative energy sources certainly need to be taken advantage of. But again, it will take years to put them in place and in the meantime we are sitting on enough oil here at home to supply our transportation, business & domestic needs for 60 years. We’re talking about gas and natural gas. It’s insane to send $700 billion a year to countries who could cut us off at any moment and bring our whole economy to a standstill. The democrats love to claim it would take 10 years to get available oil supplies to market; actual drilling experts say it would take a year or less in many places where we’re already set up to drill.

Obama voted to cut funding Our Military Troops; Will not admit to the success of the surge, did not visit our sick and wounded troops while in Iraq; accused them of bombing villages and killing civilians and shunned them when off camera in Iraq. How can he be Commander in Chief of our troops when he so obviously holds them in disdain? How many young Americans are going to volunteer to defend our nation when serving under a president that they know has no respect for them? Without the military, who’s watching out for America?

Not insignificant , Obama’s faith certainly comes into question as does his patriotism. While he claims to be a “dedicated Christian”, he also states there is more than one pathway to Salvation; denies the existence of Hell and challenges parts of the Bible. This isn’t Christianity as laid out in God’s word. Anybody can claim to be a Christian. But you have to live it to be it. Living it requires adherence to God’s commands. ANYTHING LESS IS NOT CHRISTIANITY. So what is he? He referred to his “Muslim Faith” when speaking to George Stephanopoulos. Was that a Freudian slip? I don’t know. I just know that no real Christian would promote mass slaughter of unborn babies or celebrate the abominable practice of homosexuality and force it upon a nation of 300 million citizens. He is a strong proponent of the so called “Separation of Church and State” designed to bar Christianity from every corner of the public square; this qualifies him as a secularist; but certainly not a Christian. Christians don’t lie every time they open their mouths. Obama does.

Neither would a real Christian sit in a “church” for 20 years listening to the hate filled tirades of the “reverend” Wright and “father” Pfleger, rub elbows and do business with the home grown unrepentant terrorist William Ayers, work with and accept favors from the likes of convicted felon, Tony Rezko, choose as a mentor communist poet, Frank Marshall Davis, and give $800,000.00 of taxpayer donated campaign money to a corrupt organization such as ACORN who he has spent 10 years training in methods of fraudulent voter registration, in addition to functioning as their Lawyer. In addition, millions of the first bailout in this current financial mess were directed to ACORN; so they can commit voter registration fraud and cancel out conservative votes pursuant to Obama’s 10 years of training them.

No patriotic American would listen to the hate America speech of people like Wright, Ayers, Pfleger, Farrakhan and others. Patriotic Americans wear the replica of Old Glory on their lapel with pride.

If Obama were applying for a management position at Wall Mart, he would be hard pressed to pass a serious background check. Yet millions are going to vote to hand him the keys to our Whitehouse, Economy, Educational, Judicial and National Security Systems. How insane is this? We better realize that If he gets into the highest office in the land with a Democrat controlled congress and senate, there will be no checks and balances in place; no control whatsoever of the damage that can be done in four short years, not the least the loss of our Christian rights.

It’s way past time for Americans to sit up, stand up, speak up and salvage this wonderful God given country while there is still time. We are now 27 days away from the potential point of no return. We can either vote smart, vote morally or go down in history as the most foolish of societies since time began.

American citizens are suffering high gas prices resulting in increased cost of food and other necessities. Most citizens are pleading, and have been pleading for months, with the Democrat Congress, led by Nancy Pelosi and Majority leader Harry Reid, to release the hold on the drilling of our billions of barrels of oil and trillions of barrels of natural gas.  These “servants of the people” have ignored the voice of the majority, taken a five week vacation paid for by the tax payers, and in general, shot us the finger attitudinally while 700 billion taxpayer dollars per year continue to go foreign countries who could cut us off altogether if they chose. 

Finally, shortly before their scheduled adjournment for the remainder of the year, they have arrogantly presented an energy bill that is so useless and fatally flawed that it will never get the Senate’s approval or escape President Bush’s veto pen. Said bill was designed to fail and hopefully fool the public into thinking the Democrats attempted a solution to the energy problem and the bad old Republicans turned it down. They really think we’re that stupid.

In the meantime the country’s largest mortgage company, largest & oldest banks and largest insurance company are being bailed out at taxpayer expense. Wall Street is taking a beating and the hemorrhaging of taxpayer money and jobs may not slow down for a long long time.

Meanwhile Nancy Pelosi, Barack Obama and the rest of the left wing politicians are screaming “the Bush Administration, John Mc Cain and the republican party are to blame” while much of the country follows suit, not knowing any better.

What they won’t tell us is that the mortgage and banking fiasco started in the Clinton Administration. Careful lending was deemed discriminatory against minorities and “regulations” were put in place requiring lenders to make loans to high risk applicants. Lenders were forbidden to “redline” (refuse) loans to those with poor job and credit history including those with histories of bankruptcy and foreclosures.  Clinton’s decision started the ball rolling towards today’s disaster in the housing, mortgage, banking and insurance industries.

During his 8 years in office, President Bush has gone to Congress no less than 17 times asking for action to be taken to avoid the collapse we are dealing with now; all to no avail due to Democrats and a few Republican defectors. Three years ago, Mc Cain, along with three other republican Senators, addressed the same issue; again to no avail. Now they are catching the whole blame for Clinton’s costly “politically correct” regulation foisted on our financial institutions.

The audacity of Barack Obama’s dishonesty in this situation should anger every American paying the cost of this huge government driven failure. And we are, and should be, angry over the oil situation. These critical political blunders, indifference to citizen’s well being and refusing to listen to our voices are nothing short of treason by these politicians. The Democrat controlled congress is knowingly and willingly making us suffer the price of their folly. Republicans are not perfect either, but remember that they stayed on the darkened senate floor on our behalf while Nancy Pelosi’s flock was off enjoying their 5 week vacation at our expense. We need to hold the Democrats feet to the fire and hold them responsible, for once, for their huge part in this financial tragedy; including thinking a long long time before we put Democrats in both houses of congress and the White House. 

Oprah: Promoting Sacrilege & Blasphemy; Endorsing Wholesale Abortion & Same Sex Marriage & Snubbing Sarah Palin

Promoting Sacrilege & Blasphemy

Oprah Winfrey, reported to be America’s most watched daytime TV talk show host with a daily following in excess of seven million viewers, is promoting a book by Eckhart Tolle titled “A New Earth”. In the same breath that Oprah claims to be a Christian, she states that there are many paths to God outside Christianity. I can’t wrap my mind around that statement or that belief, it is so conflicted. True Christians believe that Jesus Christ is the one and only “path” to God; to salvation. John 14:6 Jesus said: I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me. Is Oprah saying that Jesus lied? Is she claiming that Mr. Tolle knows more than Jesus, the prophets of old, the disciples? That Tolle’s book overrides the authority of the Bible?

Oprah has tremendous influence on her fans. Her endorsement of books practically guarantees the book and the author of “Best Seller” status. Many of her fans hold Oprah up as the final authority on everything. Therefore, when they rush out to buy Tolle’s book, many of them, (even those claiming to be Christians) will fall in line, cult like, with his new age thinking.

Tolle combines the mysticism of Buddhism and Hinduism with deliberate misinterpretations of Biblical scripture. He discounts sin as an obsolete concept, denies the existence of hell, denies that Heaven is a place but claims that “heaven” is found in our “inner realm of consciousness”. Tolle claims that this is what Jesus really meant in His teachings. Until now I was not aware that Jesus needed Mr. Tolle to interpret His meanings. I find Jesus’ meanings, clearly stated in the Bible, to be very straightforward and easily understood. Nothing Jesus said is in need of mere mortal’s corrective interpretation; especially when that interpretation is so deliberately skewed. Oprah & Tolle, in this new age partnership, create stumbling blocks to salvation for her vast audience of adoring fans; many who blindly follow anything Oprah says.  What a waste of influence. It would behoove her to remember Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.

Endorsing Wholesale Abortion and Same Sex Marriage

I don’t watch Oprah. I don’t know if she overtly endorses abortion and/or the homosexual agenda on her show. Whether she does or doesn’t, she endorses it via her avid support of Obama and his principals. He is wildly supportive of abortion; the weapon of mass destruction of tiny human beings; even those who survive abortion attempts. He is also dedicated to the homosexual agenda including, but not limited to, same sex “marriage”. The majority of the American public is against both of these closely held Obama principals. God designed marriage between one man and one woman for the purposes of procreation of the species; genesis+1:%2027-28  Same sex “marriage” is counter to His purpose.­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­  Babies, born or unborn, are God’s creation and belong to him.psalms+139:13-16

I don’t believe he wants them murdered.

Snubbing Sarah Palin

Oprah, who claims to be a champion of women; an icon of women’s accomplishments, has announced her decision not to have Governor Palin on her show till after the election. She claims she doesn’t want to use her show as a political platform. Who does she think she’s kidding? She’s openly endorsed Obama. Whether she’s had him on her show since he announced his candidacy is a moot point. If she has even as much as mentioned his name on her show under the circumstances, she is using her show as a political platform for him. Disallowing Palin on the show is nothing short of bias against this woman. Oprah claims to support all women; not just those who are not a threat to Obama. This is sheer hypocrisy and fraud on Oprah’s part and, I might add, a slap in the face to any woman with a brain in her head

In my opinion, Oprah is showing her Narcissism by assuming Sarah Palin would even want to appear on her show. Governor Palin is in a class so far above Oprah Winfrey, that it would be a giant step down to appear on this liberal diva’s show.

Last but not least, Oprah has wealth, fame and fortune in such abundance as to be unimaginable to most of us. She has a vast audience; a following that hangs on her every word. She has an opportunity to be a role model for Jesus Christ; for real Christianity. She has an opportunity to make her wealth count for Him to whom it all belongs and what does she do with it? Promotes sacrilege, blasphemy, mass destruction of innocent babies and the homosexual agenda. Meanwhile, she deprives a conservative woman the right of free speech on her show; a woman who supports unborn babies and rejects same sex marriage; a Christian woman. She does this while claiming to be a Christian.

I think Jesus, at the end of the day, must look down on us for whom he bled and died, and weep.

Treason, Traitors & Far Left Liberals

Treason is defined as a “violation of allegiance toward one’s country or sovereign, especially the betrayal of one’s country by waging war against it or by consciously and purposely acting to aid its enemies; A betrayal of trust or confidence”.

Some of the synonyms describing “Traitor” are as follows: Betrayer, deserter, Judas, Benedict Arnold, hypocrite, turncoat, imposter, informant, spy, double-crosser, wolf in sheep’s clothing, fink, rat, stool pigeon, two-timer and copperhead. Got the picture? Remind you of anybody we know?

As I see it, Politicians, Main Stream Media, Hollywood, Judges and atheistic organizations are full of traitors; copperheads.  First of all, they betray and wage war against God, the Creator of the heavens, the earth and all that are within it; even the traitors themselves belong to Him but they hate and defile Him. They dedicate themselves to removing Him altogether from the American scene. Judas Iscariot was a traitor. At least he was grieved over what he had done. Today’s Judases have no qualms over their treasons. They are proud of themselves.

They betray our country as a whole including our military and American citizens as individuals. They threaten our life, liberty, freedoms and pursuit of happiness as granted by God and our constitution. They are filled with vitriol and utter disdain for anybody who does not share their liberal views and willfully crucify any individual or group of individuals that get in their way. Consider the Boy Scouts, the Haditha Marines and the two Border Control Agents, now rotting in Jail, just to name a few.

People in power, such as Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barack Obama, 90 % of the DNC, the majority of Hollywood celebrities, the ACLU, Citizens for the Separation of Church and State, activist judges and other liberal groups have committed such egregious acts of treason that if this were the 1940’s and 50’s they would be charged, found guilty and some of them, (Jane Fonda comes to mind), executed. 

No matter what their station in life, those who avow hatred for America don’t deserve to live here.  If it were not for political correctness gone amok and tolerance extended to the extreme, such traitors would be spending years behind bars where they belong; or maybe deported to Siberia; for life.

When any citizen, loudly and publicly, rants and raves against their country, especially in time of war, (Michael Moore); when their sympathies lie with our enemies, (Jane Fonda,); when they unfairly, inaccurately and cruelly malign our military, (John Murtha & John Kerry); refuse to fund them in time of war, (Barack Obama); when they don headscarves and cozy up to terrorist, (Nancy Pelosi); When they blatantly lie, play Robin Hood, robbing the responsible to give to the irresponsible, buy votes and line their pockets with ear marks, ignore the voice of the people, (Bush, Mc Cain, Kennedy on immigration); hold us hostage & insist on their own agenda, (Pelosi & Reid); sell us out to special interest groups, (environmentalists); when they behave as dictators; they betray our trust. They are traitors to us as individual citizens who voted them into office. When celebrities who we’ve made filthy rich by supporting their “arts” promote politics that are anti-American, they betray us. When mainstream media create news in lieu of simply reporting it, they are in the business of brainwashing gullible listeners. That is betrayal of trust.

When Judges use their authority to aid and abet the enemy, i.e. the Supreme Court’s recent ruling giving enemy combatants the “right” of habeas corpus, they have not only betrayed us; they have committed treason. When they cater to Pro-Choice, Homosexual, ACLU and other far left groups, they are assisting in the erosion of morality in our society. If this isn’t traitorous, I don’t know what is.

We have become a society of deaf, dumb and blind tolerance to such an extreme that we are self destructing. There are those of us who do stand up, speak up and cry out to stop the insanity; to clean up our act, but, so far, we are voices crying in the wilderness. Too much of the country is apathetically asleep at the wheel or so brain dead, or immoral themselves, that they buy all the rhetoric being spewed by the far left liberal mobs.

We don’t use politically incorrect terms like “traitor” or “treason” any more. We don’t hold traitors responsible anymore. We don’t make them pay for their betrayal. We, instead, vilify those who take a stand, (Mc Carthy), destroy their reputations, ostracize them and keep on adoring the traitors while ignoring and making excuses for the damage they inflict on our society.

What has happened to us? This great country that banded together and stood our ground in World wars I & II till we won; who took care of our own; who worked hard accepting responsibility for ourselves and our families; who never considered welfare, food stamps or unending handouts; who proudly pledged allegiance to our flag; believed in one nation under God; who called a spade a spade…….a traitor a traitor and acted accordingly.

Are we ever going to come to our senses, regain our backbone and take back our country? I hope so, but I don’t think we’ll do it yet. In spite of all the whining about the economy and the plethora of other complaints, we still have it too good in this country we call home; the good old USA.

Some have all but forgotten 9/11. Socialism, Marxism, Communism and terrorism are clouded terms stored in some dark corner of our cranial library; something for others to deal with lest we miss Desperate Housewives, Monday Night Wrestling or have to interrupt a cell phone call. We have become a society of “anything goes”. And we are too busy to be bothered with it.

Perhaps our country will have to sink into utter despair and abject misery before we will emerge from our trance, get to our feet and DO something about our alarming circumstances. That time may be here before we know it; especially if his adoring throngs put His Majesty Obama, citizen of the world, into our Oval Office; in which case we may become quickly and excruciatingly aware of those seemingly obsolete terms “traitor” and “treason”.

Are these two terms radical descriptives? I don’t think so. Are we not betrayed on a daily basis by the politicians in charge; those on the pedestals of celebrity; powerful minority groups i.e. environmentalists who are currently punishing all of us at the pumps for their own self aggrandizement?  By judges on every level who blatantly rule against the majority?  Has it not become commonplace for liberals to sympathize with terrorists, blame America for all the ills of the world, demean our military, work for defeat in lieu of victory, aid and abet the enemy via their very public hatred of America, promote everything immoral, pick our pockets to give what’s rightfully ours to others without our permission?    If their actions don’t qualify them as traitors; if the ramifications of their actions don’t qualify as treason, I’d appreciate an explanation of why they don’t.

I don’t know why we, the people, are allowing this. Why so many of us are ignorant and apathetic; why we would be so dumb as to expect the government to “fix” everything when the government makes such a mess of everything they touch. Why we allow “freedom of speech” to go so far beyond its original intent that it has become a weapon of destruction; Why we are allowing fringe groups, to destroy our country. 

I believe we will stand up, eventually, as collective American citizens to take our country back. This is the American way. I just wish we would do it sooner rather than later; that we would open our eyes and ears and recognize that we are dealing with a pit of human vipers; that they are poisonous; that they are indeed traitors to our country and to us as individual citizens of the USA; that their activities are appropriately described as treasonous and that we need to recognize them and their activities for what they are and deal with them like Americans are so capable of doing. We need to wake up, stand up, speak up and take our country back while taking it back is still possible. May God have mercy upon us and be with us in our efforts to save our country. May God continue to Bless America.

Congress is due to leave DC for “vacation” in a few days. (As if they haven’t been on vacation all year so far). Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are refusing to allow a house vote on the oil drilling situation, even though Senators and Congressmen from both parties, especially the Republicans, are clamoring to vote to drill offshore and other oil rich sites here at home. To allow these two far left Politicians, puppets for the environmentalist dictators, to hold 300 million Americans Citizens captive to their idiotic whims is nothing short of criminal.

The Constitution, Article II, Section 3 states that the President may, on extraordinary occasions, convene both houses of Congress for a special session.  Former Presidents have done just that; forced the Senate and the House of Representatives to meet on extraordinary matters of defense or economic peril. Well, we are in economic peril right now due to oil prices, spiraling food prices and increasing prices across the board. Our security is at risk when we depend on hostile foreign countries to supply our oil when we have billions of untapped oil resources right here at home; not to mention coal, solar, and nuclear power. We are sending 700 billion dollars a year to purchase a product that we have right here in the USA. This is idiocy to the max and it needs to stop.

Sixty years ago Harry Truman convened his “do nothing” congress, forcing a vote, and it worked for him. To say we have a “do nothing” Congress today is a gross understatement. I would encourage everybody who hates these gas prices we are dealing with today, (which is most everybody), to contact our Representatives, the White House, John Mc Cain’s Campaign, Talk Radio Hosts and anybody else we can think of and request President Bush convene Congress and make them stay convened until they allow a vote; even if it takes their whole vacation. Otherwise, they’re going to leave us in the lurch while they tool around, enjoying their R&R  in their gas guzzling SUV’s, Hummers, Jets, Yachts and so on. In fact, they will most likely leave us hanging, grimacing at the pumps, until after the election. This is inexcusable.

It isn’t difficult to contact our representatives. The Daily Herald is kind enough to list their contact numbers in the paper every day. Email addresses, street address and phone numbers are easy enough to access via the internet. 

It is absurd that a country with 300 million citizens allows a handful of politicians to hold us hostage. We vote these people into office to represent us. The majority of citizens want us to drill here. The majority is supposed to rule in the USA. On too many fronts, we aren’t. Politicians have gotten absolutely too big for their britches and we need to knock them off their high horses. They serve us; not the other way around. Speak Up America!!!

Obama Makes My Stomach Churn 

Well Baroque Obamique is in France today, (not speaking French; how embarrassing), cozying up to still more Europeans. Does he think they are voting in the upcoming election or is he preparing to run for President of The world? Wouldn’t surprise me; In his grandiose dreams, he most likely sees himself as capable wearing a crown.

Oops!! He’s flipping a bit; (again); he’s giving our troops more credit for the improved conditions in Iraq than he did just yesterday. Must’ev been blasted for slighting them. Another Obummer faux pas! A Barack Ofootinmouth talent.

Flag pin! He’s again wearing Old Glory on his lapel; but only after quite a backlash when he deemed the pin, not to mention a pledge of allegiance to our flag, as a moot point with him.

In France, as in Germany, both governed by conservatives, the politicians and citizens alike are falling all over themselves over this well speaking nobody. Go figure. The empty headedness of people, both here and abroad, who seem to be in a trance over the Prince of Spin makes me light-headed.

As for Obama’s decision yesterday not to visit our hospitalized wounded & sick troops, who were expecting a visit from him, was inexcusable, regardless of the flimsy excuses offered by him and the democrats. If Obama can meet with thousands of Europeans, funded with campaign monies, then why in the world was it deemed “inappropriate” to visit our troops?  Could it be that this obnoxious elitist doesn’t care? That the liberal puppeteers pulling Barack’s strings are obviously more interested in his photo ops with Europeans than they are in our troops; who Obama, by the way, voted against providing funds for. Excuse me while I throw up!!

Like in Germany yesterday, he is assuring his unfailing support of Europeans; He’s going to “listen” to them and reach a consensus sensitive to their concerns while at the same time ignoring the consensus of American citizen’s  desire to drill here, drill now therefore starting the process of freeing ourselves of dependence on foreign oil; all of which he has no problem REFUSING to be sensitive to? Not to mention the consensus of Americans against abortion and the homosexuality agenda, also ignored. Give me a break!!!

I could go on for several hours about my observations of this far far left loon that is, unbelievably, running for President, but I’ve got to go take some Pepsid or Pepto-Bismol to relieve my heartburn over this atrocity.

Barack Hussein Obama; The great Pretender

Barackoswitch has changed his stance so many times on so many issues that he has my head swimming trying to track who he claims he is, or pretends, to be. Let’s see now: first of all, he pretends to be far above racial bias; someone who is going to unite us into one euphoric, color blind, peaceful, loving society; all warm & fuzzy.   

But hark! Lo and behold, Rev. Jeremiah Wright and Father Phleger appear on the scene; both of whom spew unadulterated hatred of the white race and AMERICA. Good ole’ Barackie has been bosom buddies with these two hate mongering men for more than twenty years. Not just acquaintances; but close, close friends. Surprise, surprise claims Barack. I didn’t know about any of their hatred spewing habits. These aren’t the men I knew, he claims.

When it gets so hot in the Wright-Phleger kitchen that Barackobaby can no longer stand it, he goes to Philly and makes a “poor mistreated black” speech and bemoans the trials and tribulations foisted on blacks by those mean old whites. What happened to unity? What happened to color blindness?

Additionally, consider his hobnobbing with William Ayers, our very own home grown terrorist, who not only does not repent of his wicked ways, but regrets he couldn’t have done more; more damage to his country, that is. How is being buddy buddy with a terrorist unifying to citizens of any color?

Then our Presidential hopeful pretends to be a “dedicated Christian”. At the same time, he embraces Buddhism, Hinduism, Islamism, secularism, humanism, populism, multiculturism, Marxism, Socialism and every other “ism” known to man.(Satanism?) He confidently claims there are multiple paths to Heaven regardless of Jesus’ own warning; John 14:6, “I am the way the truth and the life. No man cometh to the Father except by Me”.

 Barackoburn further declares he doesn’t believe in hell even though it is mentioned more than 800 times in the Bible. But he unabashedly ignores, manipulates & demeans Scripture to fit his personal agenda. What he does indeed believe in and support, is the homosexual agenda and unfettered abortion; including late term abortion and the killing of babies who survive abortion attempts. He works with the ACLU on these issues. Christian? Not on your life; Just pretending.

After previous vigorous opposition to Pres. Bush’s “Faith Based Initiative” which allows faith based organizations to lend helping hands in lieu of Government, he is now for it. But hold on a minute……………in order for faith based organizations, under Obama’s regime, to receive government monies for their services, these organizations will be required to hire atheists, homosexuals, pro choice activists and any kind of riff-raff that comes in off the streets, regardless of how counter to the faith based organization’s belief system. In other words, these organizations will need to become something that they are not. Some support, tee-hee-hee; just kidding; Just pretending.

His majesty declares he will magnanimously lower taxes on us poor ole’ working stiffs. How’s that going to work? He initiated bill #S.2433, the U.N. Poverty Act, requiring working, tax-paying Americans to shell out, (over a 13 years span) an additional 845 billion dollars over and above what we already pay for global poverty. Why the United Nations? We are a sovereign nation. Why involve the U.N. when they aren’t even our friends?

His planned Socialist Health Care has to be paid for somehow; including the huge chunk that he wants to set aside for Illegal Alien health care. There isn’t a health care fairy out there who’s going to wave a wand to pay for this. We, you and me, will be required to dish it out.

Consider his insistence that Capital Gains Taxes be increased by around 100%; minimum wage again increased. Wonder how many small businesses will have to close their doors? How many jobs will be lost? How will individual taxpayers like having to pay additional taxes if they profit from a sale of their home or anything else of substance?  What about removing the Social Security Cap? That way we can pay S.S.tax for several additional years while we may never see a penny returned on our investment. He’s going to lower taxes? Save us little guys big bucks? Improve our economy? Make life beautiful?  Nah, nah, nah!! He’s just pretending.

Among other issues he’s done a 180 degree on, is Nafta. First he was against it; promised to axe it. Now he’s on board with it. He hated FISA. He was going to filibuster against it till he killed it. Now he’s backing it. So far, he’s still opposed to drilling here at home, but for the sake of political expediency he’s bound to do a switcheroo on that too. Just wait and see. We already know what’s going to happen to his stand on the war against terror. He’ll be bound to change his tune once he goes to Iraq and sees the improvements made. He’ll again “change” his policy for the sake of the people. HA!!!

As for DC’s gun ban, he initially was a hearty supporter but now supports the Supreme Court’s reversal of same. He swears that he’s a new kind of politician; above the Washington Insider breed; when in fact he’s not one iota different than the most entrenched old lying politicians.

To the deaf, dumb and blind, he’ll make himself look oh so wise and caring in making his policy “adjustments”. The “change” Obama so frequently speaks of has only to do with his frequent “changes of mind”.   Do we need that? I think we’ll be much better off if we say, “No thanks; keep the change”.

He claims to be a patriotic, proud American. Undoubtedly that’s why he refused to say our Pledge of allegiance, wear a flag pin or educate himself about how many states are in our Union. That’s why he’s embarrassed that we simpletons don’t speak French. That’s why he fights the idea of English as our National Language but insists that Americans, instead, learn Spanish. His patriotism is why he was joined at the hip with Wright, Phleger, Ayers, and is married to a woman cut from the same cloth as these hate mongering men. That’s loving your country alright.

Barack Obama, in spite of his polish, elitist attitude, pretty words, expensive suits and hordes of fools following him, slobbering all over themselves, is nothing more than an unaccomplished, inexperienced political whipper-snapper; not even dry behind the ears. He is a pretender; a chameleon; a liar, a pied piper. He has no substance. He’s a silver tongued empty suit; a demagogue. He’s dangerous!

If we put him in office, we’ll find out too late, that this far left former U.S. Senator, become President, is on a fast-track-destruction of America. As our world crumbles around us, If we peasants dare remind our naked Emperor of his promises, he’ll say “Oh that! …….. you silly geese; I was just pretending”.

Terrorists vs. Unborn babies

Our illustrious members of Congress and the Senate, including Berserk Hussein Obamasoma, who continue to have their panties in a wad over “torture” of terrorists, are simultaneously wildly supportive of abortion, including late term abortion where viable little human beings have their brains sucked out. Someone help me understand the bizarre, conflicted, not to mention criminal, thinking of these brain-trusts that “We the People” have placed in authority. Would sucking a baby’s brains out not constitute torture? Babies are not terrorists. They are innocents of the highest order. They are not out to kill anybody. They are just struggling to be born; to live.

I am trying to make sense of all this. While I’m at it, I want to figure out why so much of the American public has been “sheep’d”  into forgetting that we are at war with terrorists. You remember; the ones that turned our own airplanes into missiles and wiped out 3,000 innocent lives in a matter of minutes; the ones who bomb our embassies and our ships; the ones who whack off heads; who turn themselves into bombs in order to kill people they’ve never even met, much less been harmed by; the ones who announce their intentions to wipe out entire countries, including the USA; THOSE people.

They are out to kill us; including those idiots who sympathize with them. Why are we so concerned about torturing a terrorist who would just as soon whack off our heads as not? Have we lost our collective minds?

I personally do not care what means we use to stop terrorist. I just want them stopped. I much prefer to keep my head in tact; connected to my neck and shoulders. I would not look forward to being blown to smithereens by a missile or human explosive nor do I want it to happen to a friend, a loved one or a neighbor.   Am I expecting too much? Being mean? I don’t think so. Terrorists are not only our enemies; they are enemies of our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ

I can think of about a jillion people and groups of people who could use some empathy, sympathy and support.( Heroes fighting for their causes). At the head of this list is our troops and unborn babies. Terrorists are not included in this group. Get a grip out there you soft headed left wingers and get some backbone you Republicans who wimp out, allowing yourselves to be placed on the defensive, therefore becoming useless in the torture, (and other) debates. 

Somewhere along the line, we, as a country, have lost our common sense and our moral compass. Our priorities are in disarray. If we don’t regain them, we are apt to pass the point of no return; said point possibly closer than we think.

America; My Home Sweet Home

I love this Country that I call home; where Old Glory proudly waves on every breeze. This United States of America; the home of the free and the brave; a miraculous nation on more fronts that I can begin to count in this article.  

 We are blessed to have had fore-fathers who had the wisdom to write the most amazing political document in all of history; our Constitution. Regardless of what secular progressives and atheists claim, our fore-fathers were for the most part dedicated Christians. Christianity was the closely held cultural consensus of our fore-fathers and the settlers who they represented. Even though our country was not officially founded as a Christian Nation, it was formed to operate by a Christian moral compass; it’s laws based on the Ten Commandments. The educational system was formed primarily for the purpose of teaching children to read the Bible, the government printing and furnishing the Bibles to accomplish this end.  Harvard, Yale & Princeton were originally created by the founders as schools of theology. Today, Bibles aren’t even allowed in schools and our universities are hotbeds of liberalism where Christianity is the butt of jokes.

Christian symbolism is found on Government Buildings and Government Monuments. The Christian Bible is used for swearing in and swearing on for all kinds of legal situations, frequently closing with such declarations as “so help me God”.

Prayers are still said at the beginning of political and judicial gatherings.  There are hundreds of thousands of Christian churches attended by millions of Christian American citizens. This is not my claim. It is borne out by History and statistics. Because of the genius and Christian beliefs of our fore-fathers, we have more freedom, more rights and more opportunity than any country on the planet and religious rights, including Christianity, was at the top of the list of their concerns. They went to great lengths to protect those religious freedoms.

We should be on our knees every single day thanking God that by His grace we call this country home. Many of us thank Him, while others take our extraordinary blessings for granted. Unfortunately, and unbelievably, there are those who are blessed to live in this great land that do not love the United States of America and hate the God who created it.  They also hate Christians and are doing everything in their power to silence them. Many of them have realized the American dream to an extent that most of us can only imagine, but still they complain. Still they hate.

Our great country is in trouble. The Christian foundation that was laid down by our fore-fathers is being eroded. Secular, atheistic termites are eating away at the freedoms awarded by our Constitution and protected for more than 200 years with the shed blood of our military. And we are allowing it.

To a large extent, the “enlightened” of our society are using the first amendment as a club to demolish the Constitution, crush our moral structure and remove Christianity from every aspect of the public square. “Separation of church and State” is their mantra. No matter how erroneous their interpretation of the first amendment, where “separation” is concerned, it has indeed been an effective weapon. Our country trembles at the mention of “Separation of Church and State”. High officials melt into their shoes, clergy gets lockjaw, academia cheers and politicians who should know by memory every jot and tittle of the constitution appear mute and clueless. 

The “separation” metaphor first uttered forth from Thomas Jefferson’s lips, (per written letter) to the Baptists at Danbury in 1802. He was attempting to assure settlers that here in the new Colonies, there was no need to fear the kind of religious tyranny they had experienced at the hands of King George III of England. He was assuring them that the first amendment protected their religious beliefs and practices from interference from the government; that the government could not tell them what they could or could not do or say; nor where or when they could practice their religion. The first amendment was designed to protect religion from government, NOT to keep religion from having a voice in government or public functions.

The word “church” is not mentioned anywhere in the Constitution. The first amendment clearly states;  ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances”

 Deliberate misinterpretation and manipulation of the meaning and intent of the Constitution’s framers has been allowed to systematically and maliciously rob us of freedoms set forth in that Constitution. Chief among the rights that are rapidly diminishing right under our noses are our religious rights. Be assured and be clear, that religion in general is not the target of these malicious groups of secularist, atheist activists. Christianity in particular is the specific target of their hate. They hate Christianity with a vengeance; hate the Judeo Christian basis for the laws of the land and hold Christians in utter disdain.

According to them there are no absolutes; No definite rights or wrongs. In other words, morals are for chumps in their view.  Thanks to them, prayer, bibles, quoted scripture, the mention of Jesus ’name, (either oral or written), Christmas Carols, the manger scene, the Christian Cross, the Ten Commandments and all other Christian symbolism is banned from public schools and in many cases, from the public square.

The theory of Evolution is taught as fact while the very mention of Creationism is banned and will get a teacher, professor, scientist fired from their jobs in one hot second; their careers deliberately and viciously destroyed. They dare not suggest that an intelligent being created the universe and all that is in it.

Yet, some schools force students to participate in Islamic customs and religious ceremonies and not a word is heard from the ACLU and other activist groups about “Separation of Church and State”. If parents object, they will be stripped of their parental rights to have a say so in what their children are subjected to in school. Something is so wrong with this picture.

Free-for-all sex is encouraged for the sake of sexual enlightenment, Teenage pregnancies, rampant abortion, homosexual agendas, pornography, pedophilia and total abandonment of any kind of moral structure is protected and encouraged by the enemies of Christianity. They feel so enlightened; so on the edge of wisdom; so superior. But they are not. In their arrogance, they believe they’re winning; that they’ve got the world by the tail. But they do not.

Jesus Christ, The Lamb of God, The King of the Universe and all that is within it, will, in His own good time, without lifting a finger, smite them into oblivion. He does not need us to do his work. He does not need our assistance. He is omnipotent. All Powerful. He is also patient, kind and full of grace. He loves us, even those that hate and defile him. He is giving those of us who claim to be his children, the chance to stand up and follow him; to defend His rightful place in our society; our world.  He’s giving those who hate him the time and opportunity to see the foolishness of their ways and turn to him before it’s too late.

In the meantime, our country that He has so blessed, is crumbling before our eyes. Will we do nothing? Will we not speak up for Him, for this country He has so graciously given us? I pray with all my heart that we will. Please, SPEAK UP AMERICA!

Finish Our Job in Iraq

There has never been a time when our country has needed more to be united, yet it has never been more divided. We are morally, ideologically, culturally and politically divided on everything from abortion to the war on terrorism. The division is ugly, angry and damaging. It seems that the old adage, “United We Stand, divided we fall” has become a moot point with us; especially where the war is concerned.

The majority of the Democratic Party, a few Republicans and 90/% of mainstream media, like Pied Pipers, keep chanting “bring our troops home” and much of our population follows like sheep. When you ask some people why they think we should quit and quit now, they frequently can’t offer anything more definitive than “Well, they should just bring our boys home” or “The war is costing too much”. They’ve soaked up the left wing hysteria and aren’t considering the consequences of leaving prematurely.

We aren’t in Iraq to control oil as some believe. If we’re so much in control, how come gas costs, on average, more than $4.00 a gallon; why did President Bush go to Saudi Arabia, hat in hand, to plead with the Saudi’s to increase their monthly crude oil allotment to us? The only oil being controlled is our own; by the environmental nitwits in tandem with congress, especially the democrats in congress. We have more than enough crude oil, natural gas, coal and nuclear potential to become totally independent. We are the only country on the planet locking down our own resources. That’s insane!

Other people believe we are at war for the sole purpose of bailing out the Iraqis. They spout “let the Iraqis take care of themselves”. What isn’t being considered here is that the Mid East is a hotbed of terrorism, with Israel being our only Mid East ally at present. Hopefully, once Iraq is truly liberated with the freedom afforded by a democratic government, they too will become an ally in the fight against terrorism. Once people get a taste of freedom, they don’t want to give it up. Why are allies important? Because Islamic Terrorists hate Israel and the United States; both countries are in their crosshairs. The USA comprises only 6% of the planets total population. As mighty as we are, we can’t stand invincible against 94% of the world forever; we need allies!

Additionally, there are complex moral issues to consider; if we leave prematurely, Iran will sweep into Iraq and commit mass murder of the Iraqi Nationals who have joined us in fighting terrorism. The world will view us as turncoats; as quitters; as paper tigers just as Osama Bin Laden did when he and his ilk planned and carried out the World Trade Center mass murder. We can’t afford to be seen as paper tigers; as quitters. Every nation on the planet is waiting and watching to see if we have the political will and the integrity to see this war through to a positive end or if we will wimp out. We need to remember that 4,000 plus American troops have laid down their lives in this war. We should never, ever consider rendering their supreme sacrifice moot by tucking our tails and running. Our population of 6% didn’t become the world’s greatest superpower by being quitters.

It’s as if those insisting that we pull out of Iraq before our job is finished have forgotten 9/11. The viciously insane murderers that made missiles of our own planes, downing the twin towers, aren’t finished with us. They are simply waiting for their next opportunity. So far they haven’t attacked us again, but make no mistake, they will. It is so much better for us to fight them over there now than to fight them here later. But the anti-war people don’t seem to realize that.

Neither do they seem to realize, remember, take seriously or appreciate that multiple terrorist plots have been uncovered and stopped since 9/11. Unlike Great Britain, Spain and others, we have escaped further terrorist attacks. That isn’t due to dumb luck or coincidence. It’s because we have been on acute, never ending guard; not because Islamic radicals have given up. They are just watching and waiting; like vultures.

Iran is right next door to Iraq. They have been competitive, combative, adversarial rivals for decades. Iran is foaming at the mouth, just waiting for the opportunity to assassinate the whole of the Iraqi population. Iran’s President, the maniacal Ahmedjinedad, makes no bones about it; he is determined to wipe both Israel and the United states off the map.

Iran, under his direction, is racing to develop atomic weapons. If we exit Iraq prematurely, he will demolish Iraq and blow Israel away. The other Arab countries will fall in lock step behind him and we will have them to deal with as one terrorist block; a block emboldened by our own political weakness. We will have quit one war only to have to engage in another bigger, harder to win, war; enduring more loss of life and treasure; possibly everything. 

It would behoove us as thinking Americans to realize that these are terrorists we are dealing with; they want to kill us. We can’t afford to expose our backs to them; they will cut off our collective heads. Or nuke us. We can’t play patty-cake with them as Obama and far left groups seem to want us to do. They won’t become our friends; they will kill us first chance they get, if we let them.

Ahmedjinedad has stated that the quickest way to cripple us is to cripple our economy. If we let the anti-war groups convince us to wimp out in Iraq and he becomes the Mid East authority, all he has to do is freeze oil sales to the United States. Chavez of Venezuela would follow suit for sure, and who knows how many others.

Since we’ve been so stupid for so long and allowed ourselves to be dependent on enemy countries to supply our oil, they can render us impotent economically. We can’t drill enough oil overnight to adequately supply our needs. Neither can we come up with overnight alternative energy supplies like the democrats are suggesting. So we’d best get with it and start drilling now. Our lives might depend on it.

Our enemies have us by the tail and they know it. Just try to imagine all the critical services that we take for granted that would be paralyzed without oil; transportation, law enforcement, manufacturing, product sales, employment, schools, hospitals, our military and so on.

So while oil is not our purpose for being in Iraq, it certainly is a critical issue; especially for our economy and for our national security. Keeping a lock on our own resources is keeping us at the center of the enemy’s bull’s eye. It is potentially fatal foolhardiness: especially if we pull out of Iraq before we’ve completed our job there. Our national security, maybe our very survival is at risk here. Even though we hear every day that this is an unwarranted war, it isn’t. We’ve actually accomplished a lot over there; let’s finish what we started while we can. Later may be too late.

Finish Our Job in Iraq

There has never been a time when our country has needed more to be united, yet it has never been more divided. We are morally, ideologically, culturally and politically divided on everything from abortion to the war on terrorism. The division is ugly, angry and damaging. It seems that the old adage, “United We Stand, divided we fall” has become a moot point with us; especially where the war is concerned.

The majority of the Democratic Party, a few Republicans and 90/% of mainstream media, like Pied Pipers, keep chanting “bring our troops home” and much of our population follows like sheep. When you ask some people why they think we should quit and quit now, they frequently can’t offer anything more definitive than “Well, they should just bring our boys home” or “The war is costing too much”. They’ve soaked up the left wing hysteria and aren’t considering the consequences of leaving prematurely.

We aren’t in Iraq to control oil as some believe. If we’re so much in control, how come gas costs, on average, more than $4.00 a gallon; why did President Bush go to Saudi Arabia, hat in hand, to plead with the Saudi’s to increase their monthly crude oil allotment to us? The only oil being controlled is our own; by the environmental nitwits in tandem with congress, especially the democrats in congress. We have more than enough crude oil, natural gas, coal and nuclear potential to become totally independent. We are the only country on the planet locking down our own resources. That’s insane!

The case for drilling

Repeatedly, the democrats and political pundits state “drilling won’t solve the problem”. That’s true as far as making us immediately oil independent. But it well might reduce gas prices in fairly short order because it will change the future “supply” aspect of the oil picture.

 The Arabs are grinning ear to ear at our stupidity in not accessing our own rich oil deposits, which far outstrips theirs. We are being held captive by foreign nations who support terrorism, don’t like us, in fact hate us, and are more than happy to exploit our very poor judgment. Not only are we being ripped off at the pumps, but we are sending billions of our tax dollars, every year, to terrorist sponsoring nations. It is not impossible or improbable that a good deal of those billions is actually going into the pockets of terrorists, thereby financing people who would love to wipe us off the planet.

Ahmedjenedad has suggested that destroying our economy would be the most efficient way of destroying us; Collapse our economy, collapse our culture; render us impotent. How can this happen? Easy; quit selling us oil.  Given that we’ve allowed our brain trusts in Congress, in cahoots with the environmentalists, to keep locks on drilling and refining of our own oil supply for the past quarter century, we are sitting ducks for such an action. 

If Obama gets in office and withdraws our troops prematurely, Iran, who is on the verge of nuclear bomb capability, will suck up Iraq, mass murder the Iraqi nationalists who have participated with us in trying to achieve a better safer life situation and blow Israel away.  Afghanistan, Pakistan, Syria, Libya and non Arabic North Korea, who are watching us closely to see if we have the political will to stay and win or walk away from the war on terror,  will fall into lock step with Iran.  The very idea of the Middle East with nuclear capability marching to the tune of maniacal Ahmedjenedad makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck. Cutting us off from oil would just be the beginning of our troubles.

Try to imagine what will happen to our economy without oil; how would we maintain manufacturing, transportation, law enforcement agencies, home heating and all the other benefits that we take for granted that are dependent upon petroleum products. How would we maintain our Military? Without a functional military, who’s going to protect us?

Why are we allowing Environmentalists and their buddies in congress to call the shots for the whole country? It’s insanity. Have these nutty Environmentalists and/or congressmen never passed a pasture where an oil rig was pumping away while cows, birds, goats and other animals were milling around care free and unharmed just feet away from the rigs? Haven’t they noticed that hurricane Katrina, with all her force, didn’t result in oil spills along the coast? Are they ignorant of the vast improvement in oil exploration, recovery & refinery technology? Have they forgotten that God gave human beings dominion over the earth and all that is in it, including animals; that the welfare of the two legged species with opposing thumbs takes priority over the rest, per God’s instruction? Who do environmentalists think they are; withholding God given resources from the whole of our society? It’s one thing to take care of our environment, as certainly we should, but quite another to sacrifice the welfare of the human race for the sake of some imagined risk to trees, plants and/or animals.

Environmentalists don’t speak for all of us, but Congress does work for all of us. We need to demand responsibility from both of them. True responsibility requires a measure of common sense. Radical emotionalism over what might happen to some plant, insect or animal should not take priority over what is happening to the American public. Congress needs to attend to problems of the people that put them in office and quit catering to the hysteria of special interest groups. They need to lift the ban on drilling.

Supreme Court Treason

In granting the “right” of Habeas Corpus to terrorists held in military compounds, the 5 liberal Supreme Court Judges, Ginsburg, Souder, Kennedy, Breyer and Stevens have once again betrayed their country and stood the Constitution on it’s head. Our Constitution was written to protect American Citizens, not murderous terrorists. This is a ruling that should be overturned. How in the world is it fair to give terrorist more consideration, more advantage than our own military? Our soldiers have no choice but to be judged by a military court when they are charged with crimes; look at the absurd charges and trials of our Marines in the Haditha Fiasco. No right thinking American can be less than outraged by this traitorous ruling by the leftist five on the Supreme Court.

This ruling will provide terrorists an avenue to be heard in civilian courts where many of their cases will be thrown out. They will walk out snickering at our ignorance, cheered on by the ACLU, Hollywood’s ignoramuses and the likes of Barack Obama. They will be free  to return to from whence they came where they can make human bombs of themselves and kill God only knows how many, including our soldiers. By their treasonous decision, the five liberal Supreme Court Justices have spit in the faces of our troops still serving and on the graves of those who gave their lives protecting us.

There should be a million citizen march to the steps of the Supreme Court. Telephones, computers and mail boxes in every political office in Washington should be jammed with communications from irate citizens demanding that this travesty of justice be corrected immediately. Will it happen? I don’t know. I just know what I will do, but I’m just one little squirt. If I had a gazillion dollars, I would spend it all on getting America to wake up, stand up and speak up. We have to do it if we are to survive. There is coming a day when it will be too late; when this great God given, God blessed country of ours will be irretrievably lost. Will you be one that didn’t lift a finger to save her? I hope not. Please, SPEAK UP AMERICA.  Please.
